--- Our House Gallery: January to April 2000 Garden Work ---
This page contains pictures of some of the garden work that was done in January to April 2000.
The front flowerbeds, viewed from the driveway, looking a little more filled in than before. These are rose bushes for the most part:

The front flowerbeds, viewed from the road. The front-left area is reserved for display annuals; it is rather sparse this time (forming a framed X shape), but in the future we plan to use lots more plants to create interesting designs:

The ex-lawn area next to the main patio; it now has several small Queen palms and Gardenias. The space in the centre is reserved for a Petanque court:

The native bush garden, looking somewhat more filled in:

The bog garden, on the edge of the natives garden and the pond; it has filled in very well:

The Japanese garden -- not a good photo, as most of it is in shadow, but you can see the growth of the moss-like groundcovers on the mound -- they're starting to join up now:

One of the roses in the front flowerbeds -- this one is "Michelangelo":

Another rose -- this one is our climbing rose; we have one of these on either side of the garage. It is "Dublin Bay":
