This page contains pictures of the construction of houses across the road from us, including some apartment buildings beyond them.
A pleasant outlook. The sections on the right of our section and over the road were empty when we first moved in, and the land beyond was unused, though earmarked for appartments. There was a nice country villa, from when this area contained orchards:
Construction starts -- the old villa has gone, and concrete floors have been laid for the houses across the road from us:
Within a few weeks, the houses had sprung up. This is before they were bricked:
In February 1999, the houses are nearing completion. Also visible is our front annuals garden:
And we now have a neigbour to the right of our house, where there used to be several empty sections:
