The house is going to be a single-level brick and tile exterior (that is, a tile roof). It has 3 bedrooms (okay, 1 bedroom and 2 offices 8^), 2 bathrooms, dining room, kitchen, formal lounge, and a 2-car garage; for a total floor area of 170 square meters (1829 square feet). The section itself is 657 square meters, so we will have a nice big back yard. It sure will be nice to have all that space! Of course, we'll be rattling around in it for a while and the furniture will be a bit spartan, but we'll grow into it.

Some of the featured modifications to the standard plans: corner spa bathtub, all-tile showers, combining the toilet and bathroom into one room, adding a sliding glass door in bedroom 2 (David's office), breakfast bar and garden window in the kitchen, and putting a gas hot water heater outside so the indoor cupboard is now a coat closet.
