A short podcast about everyday risks from germs, by Dr. Don Schaffner and Professor Ben Chapman. I also enjoy their longer Food Safety Talk podcast, but this one is a nice (germ-free) bite-size.

On the homestead blog: a few days ago I did another few hours on the bee shed project, adding corrugated steel and transparent panels to clad the walls. 🔨

Last year we were looking forward to visiting New Zealand, doing a big driving tour of the South Island. One week before our departure, COVID-19 was declared a pandemic, and the following day, one year ago today, we postponed the trip. 🦠🗺✈️🚗🇳🇿

On the homestead blog: a Flock Friday, surprisingly with no pictures of the pond this time. But plenty of ducks and chickens, and even a surprise bird. Check out the post! #FlockFriday 🦆🐓

For week/year 10 of my 52 years celebration, another picture from sometime in the 1970’s, of my brother Neville and me on a train in a playground. #ThrowbackThursday #52years

A little motion blur, but I was amused by this pic of Paladin with his tongue peeking out. 🐈

On the homestead blog: @jidabug slipped and bruised herself on the workshop steps, so once I finish the bee shed project, I have my next homestead project queued up: replacing the steps. Check out the blog post for more info. 🔨

I seem to have accidentally started daily posts of Paladin… so why not continue. A different variation today: Pippin on the couch, and Paladin’s paw stretched out from behind my Mac. 🐈
