The Micro.blog challenge word for day 26 is “favourite”. Since it’s Flock Friday, I’ll admit that my favorite chicken is Merida. She’s just so friendly, always coming up to me to greet me, and lets me pet her. 🐓📷 #mbfeb

For week/year 8 of my 52 years celebration, another picture from sometime in the 1970’s, of me making a snowman (and my father at the edge of the frame). Seems appropriate given the surprise snow yesterday. #ThrowbackThursday #52years

On the homestead blog: this morning we woke up to some surprise snow, so of course I felt an urge to fly my drone to capture the winter wonderland. 🚁❄️

The Micro.blog challenge word for day 24 is “baby”. Look what I spotted on the floating pond island: duck eggs! These probably aren’t fertilized, but now that they are starting to lay, we may have baby ducklings before long. 🦆🥚📷 #mbfeb

The Micro.blog challenge word for day 23 is “banana”. We don’t have any bananas at present, so I searched my photo library for a picture… close, photos app, but these are not bananas. 🚫🍌📷 #mbfeb

The Micro.blog challenge word for day 22 is “spell”. Back around age 13 (I think) I enjoyed writing short sci-fi stories, laboriously typing them on my mother's manual typewriter (before I had a computer with a printer). But my spelling wasn’t that great. 📷 #mbfeb

The Micro.blog challenge word for day 21 is “colors”. Here’s a picture of our custom chicken coop from the recent ice storm, with the translucent icicles and white snow adding to the many colors of the coop, inspired by Caribbean houses. 📷 #mbfeb

Paladin sat next to Pippin, which could be sweet, but inevitably means hassling long-suffering Pip. Pip was swishing his tail in annoyance, which Paladin thought was a fun toy. (Photo and two GIFs.) 🐈

The Micro.blog challenge word for day 20 is “weather”. We’ve had some interesting weather this month, with snow, ice, rain, wind… but one phenomenon that I particularly enjoyed was a rainbow. 🌈📷 #mbfeb
