A bonus picture for the Micro.blog photo challenge word for day 29, "flake" (suggested by kurite). For my afternoon snack today, I ate one of my hoarded Cadbury Flake chocolate bars, a fave from my NZ days, imported from the UK. 馃摲 #mbaug

The Micro.blog photo challenge word for day 29 is "flake" (suggested by kurite). After mealworms, the all-time favorite treat of our chickens are flakes of rice. They love strawberries, too, but ignore those till they鈥檝e eaten all the rice. 馃摲馃崜馃崥馃悡 #mbaug

The Micro.blog photo challenge word for day 28 is "emotions" (suggested by @dominikhoecht). Caring for animals like pet and feral cats plus ducks and chickens involves a lot of work and emotions, including joy at their cuteness, and eventually sadness. 馃摲馃悎馃馃悡 #mbaug

The answer to today鈥檚 question: a backpack sprayer. I spent a couple of hours this morning using it to spray weeds in our paths and gardens. I hand-pull weeds in areas around the ducks etc, but there are too many to do that everywhere. #WhatsItWednesday
