To complete the set on our trip to Mexico for the excellent Release Notes conference, the last dinner at the resort, plus Margaritaville beverages at the airport, and business/first class airline food on the way home.

Alrighty, one last post from Mexico before heading home: some towel and rose petal art.

We spent the morning in a cabana at the beach again, sipping tasty beverages, then relaxed on our room's balcony, coincidentally when it started raining. The sky is sad that we head home tomorrow, and so are we.

Oh yeah, we're also in Cancun for the Release Notes conference. Here are yesterday's excellent speakers, plus the closing dinner. Definitely the most relaxing conference I've ever been to, with fascinating talks and interesting conversations with successful and beginning developers, writers, and others in our industry.

Memo to self: just because we didn't have problems with mosquitos last time we were in in Cancun, doesn't mean we won't another time. Everyone has been suffering lots of bites.

Last night, the Release Notes conference started with an opening reception, followed by a marshmallow "bonfire" on the beach. Then three interesting talks today, with plenty of time for chatting with others, and a group lunch and (soon) dinner.

Yesterday we spent most of the day lazing in a cabana on the beach, with periodic delivery of margaritas and lunch. Such a tough life.

Tapas for dinner followed by relaxing on the roof lounger last night, and room service on the balcony for breakfast. Yep, I'm going to do lots of short posts during this trip.

We're now in Cancún for the Release Notes conference, with a vacation day on either side. Yesterday was the travel day, starting by waking up at 01:30 to head to the airport for about 7 hours of flights. But first/business is the way to go.
