Paladin on top of the kitchen cabinets... not an approved cat place, but he doesn't care. #dejus365 🐱

I'm enjoying that Dejal Time Out is currently being highlighted in two places in the Mac App Store: on the home Discover page under Apps and Games We Love Right Now, and the Work page under Master the Menu Bar. Nice!

Today is the 12th anniversary of the first Dejal blog post, and creating the Dejal forums. I seem to have gotten out of the habit of blogging regularly there. Perhaps the homestead and personal blogs fulfill that need, though I want to get back into that for the app company too. And I'm thinking of shutting down the forums, due to spam attacks, and decreasing usage; most people prefer to contact me directly.

For #ThrowbackThursday, a couple of pictures of my childhood bedroom bookshelves, in 1989 and 1993. Most of it sci-fi books, but a lot of uni textbooks too. Fun vintage things: classic Mac graphics, After Dark screensaver boxes, my first US dollars, VHS & cassette tapes, MacUser poster, dot matrix printer. #dejus365

I'm working on building the berry cage in the veggie garden every other day this week, instead of weekends, since the weather is fine (but cold) this week. Here's a shot down a pole from the top of a ladder. #dejus365

The weather wasn't great over the weekend, but nice this week, so I time-shifted my work on the berry cage to today and the next day or two. Here's a just-above-freezing building selfie from this morning. #dejus365
