It’s still below freezing overnight, so unsurprisingly the waterers in the chicken runs are frozen, with some nice icicles. (Don’t worry, they have heated waterers inside the coops.) 🐓❄️

It’s below freezing overnight, so our pond is partially frozen. Here’s a peek from the secret path, plus a bonus shot of the ice from the other side.
Oops… I noticed that the pipe for the deck mister froze and burst. I forgot to open the valve to let the water drain out when I turned off the water for the winter. I’ll have to replace that in spring before turning on the water again. Seems like an annual tradition to repair at least one outdoor pipe.
