I turned on the string lights on the white and brown gazebos, as a bit of holiday festivity. 🎄

Yesterday I posted about a tweak to the Dejal site, showing the Time Out page. For Throwback Thursday, I thought I’d share some screenshots from the Wayback Machine of ancient variations of that page, starting from 2003. #ThrowbackThursday

As a fun activity on today’s Weekend Wednesday, I tweaked the Dejal site to bump up the font size on the main text areas. These are marketing pages; they should be more readable. I plan on more changes in the future. Compare old and new.

The answer to today's #WhatsItWednesday question: it’s our main well head. We had an issue with our well last night, where its power supply stopped working (so no water for us); fortunately we were able to get it repaired this morning. Here’s a diagram of a well system.

Let’s play What’s It Wednesday again. What do you think this is? This will be very easy for some people, very hard for others. #WhatsItWednesday

I just spent half an hour renaming the “master” branches to “main” in my many GitHub repos, which made me think of this tangentially-related Heinlein quote from Time Enough for Love: 💬

In a mature society, 'civil servant' is semantically equal to 'civil master.'

The feral cat feeder was empty this morning, so I had to go out there to refill it, disturbing three cats waiting for food; you can see two in the first and third pictures, and a closeup of Spud, who wasn’t sure whether to stay or run. 🐈

The answer to today’s #WhatsItWednesday question, as correctly identified on Micro.blog and Facebook: a mushroomy fungus thingy on the back lawn.

Here are a few more pictures of Paladin enjoying the blanket on my office couch, with Pippin perched on a hat nearby in the last one. I wish they would snuggle together, but this is the closest they get to that. 🐈
