On the Dejus YouTube channel: Feral cat breakfast; a short crudely cut-together video from three camera views of a couple of our feral cats reacting to the food being dispensed, and going to eat breakfast.

My shiny new iPhone XS Max, in gold. It's a very subtle color, quite nice. Yay for the iPhone Upgrade Program; this is a minor update on my iPhone X, but I like the bigger screen and better camera. #dejus365

Getting lots of roma and cherry tomatoes recently. Some for me (for burgers and sandwiches), some for the chickens (to turn into eggs). #dejus365

Oh, and speaking of old things, nobody cares but me, and I don't care all that much, but today is the 27th anniversary of founding my macOS & iOS development company, Dejal. Back in 1991, I wrote utilities for Mac System 5 and later. Such classics as Say It FKEY, that spoke text on the clipboard; QuickEncrypt, an encryption tool; SndConverter Pro to convert batches of system sounds to other formats; and many more.

Since I released Dejal Simon 4.3 yesterday, and posted a screenshot, it seems appropriate that the #ThrowbackThursday post this week be of Simon 2.3 from 2007, running on my old MacBook. #dejus365

It does mean that I have to wait for watchOS 5 too... but I can live with that. (So far I'm resisting upgrading my Watch... but I may eventually cave on that, since I keep reading & hearing how much of an improvement the new one is.)

So far I've resisted installing iOS 12 on my iPhone X, since my shiny new iPhone XS Max will arrive on Friday. A new OS will make the S-year phone more special. Plus just seems kinda pointless hassle; I can wait a few days.

I just made a donation to St. Jude to help the fight against cancer, as part of an annual fundraising campaign by one of my favorite podcasters and bloggers, Stephen Hackett. I encourage everyone else to support this worthy campaign.

Getting out of BBQ season... but if it's not actively raining, I can at least cook a burger outside, then bring it inside to eat. #dejus365

By the way, in my previous post of Rory & Paladin, that isn't a well-timed action shot. Paladin lays on the chair, then stretches out and stays like that for a few minutes, until he slowly oozes off the chair. He's the strangest cat ever.

Woke up just before midnight to complete the pre-order of an iPhone XS Max 256GB Gold, on the iPhone Upgrade Program. Went very smoothly this time. Scheduled to arrive next Friday.
