Speaking of eggs, I mentioned in a conversation on Twitter today that I was looking forward to getting some duck eggs; I guess one of our chickens saw that tweet, as I found a surprise jumbo egg when I collected eggs this afternoon. I bet that hurt! 🐓🥚
A few people correctly identified today’s What’s It Wednesday question: it was some egg cartons, stamp, ink, and the wooden block I made to let me stamp the top of a carton (in the background you can see another block for split cartons). #WhatsItWednesday

On the homestead blog today, just a few photos. It’s a hot day, so we left the pool in the duck house all afternoon, to help them cool off. 🦆
