A bonus time-lapse GIF for #Caturday, with almost lethal levels of cuteness of Porcini and Poppy snuggling in the cat house today. 🐈
Month: October 2020
One of the GIFs from this morning’s Caturday post, featuring Porcini lovingly snuggling with her mother Poppy inside the cat house. Maximum cuteness! 🐈
In my bird food box, in addition to a bin of black oil seeds, is a bin with suet and a big bag of peanuts in the shell. I put out a handful of peanuts in a tray for the jays each morning. (Pictures inspired by conversation with @macgenie.)
On the homestead blog: a skunk, possum, and raccoon visited the cats, plus several in-person sightings of cats, and much cuteness and snuggles. It’s #Caturday 🐈
Whatcha got, human? Is it for me? (Yes, actually; it was cat food, in a box only staying closed by a few strands of the tape.) 📦🐈
On the homestead blog: some hummingbirds, ducks, chickens, a jay, and even a cat. Plus some sad news. #FlockFriday 🦆🐓

Paladin with a funny expression, while comfy on the kitchen counter, where he isn’t supposed to be, on top of some proofing bread, where he really shouldn’t be. But hey, it’s warm, and in a sunbeam; what’s not to like? 🐈
Video: I moved one of the cameras in our new chicken coop to above the nesting boxes. Here is a time-lapse of a day in the coop from that vantage point, with a surprise egg bonus. 📹🐓
One more from our anniversary trip to Hawaii in 2005: a poster we created with several of the photos from the trip. #ThrowbackThursday
