Paladin in my office — in a cardboard nest, climbing and in front of the mirror, and enjoying a sunbeam. 🐈
Month: December 2020
Some pics from my morning rounds just now of the ducks and a frosty duck house roof. It was very slippery out there, but not cold enough to freeze the pond yet. 🦆❄️
On the homestead blog: something new in this week’s cat update — Poppa went inside the cat house, and hung out for a couple of hours. Which was fine with our ferals. #Caturday 🐈
I turned on the string lights on the white and brown gazebos, as a bit of holiday festivity. 🎄
Snuggles with Paladin. 🐈
On the homestead blog: lots of nice duck and chicken pictures this week, plus some bonus hummingbird pics. #FlockFriday 🦆🐓🐦
Some pictures of hummingbirds just after I refilled the feeders. Check out the tongues in the first and third pictures! 🐦
Yesterday I posted about a tweak to the Dejal site, showing the Time Out page. For Throwback Thursday, I thought I’d share some screenshots from the Wayback Machine of ancient variations of that page, starting from 2003. #ThrowbackThursday
As a fun activity on today’s Weekend Wednesday, I tweaked the Dejal site to bump up the font size on the main text areas. These are marketing pages; they should be more readable. I plan on more changes in the future. Compare old and new.
The answer to today’s #WhatsItWednesday question: it’s our main well head. We had an issue with our well last night, where its power supply stopped working (so no water for us); fortunately we were able to get it repaired this morning. Here’s a diagram of a well system.
