Uh oh… I really should look more closely at my ducks; I just noticed that Sassa has developed the male tail curl too. I guess we need to come up with another Swedish male name (that starts with “S”). Any suggestions? 🦆

Puffy pepperoni pizza. I’m currently experimenting with 4-night cold proofing; I divide and feed my sourdough starter on Wednesday, and feed the countertop copy again that night, then prepare the pizza dough on Thursday, putting in the fridge till Monday. 🍕

My stack of clear corrugated panels for the bee shed project blew around a bit in a recent storm; I’ve now re-stacked and weighed them down. I’ve had these materials since April; one day I’ll get around to working on that project. 🔨
Remember flowers? None blooming around here at present, but I still have a bunch of unpublished pictures from summer, so here are a couple of peppermint flowers with bees, taken in August. I hope our bees are hibernating well. 🌱🌼🐝
