For week/year 11 of my 52 years celebration, my first ever selfie via my first (black & white) camera, from sometime in the 1970s. #ThrowbackThursday #52years

For week/year 10 of my 52 years celebration, another picture from sometime in the 1970’s, of my brother Neville and me on a train in a playground. #ThrowbackThursday #52years
For week/year 9 of my 52 years celebration, another picture of me from the 1970’s, at Grandma’s house. #ThrowbackThursday #52years
The Micro.blog challenge word for day 27 is “pompasetting”, which apparently is a Caribbean word for showing off. So here’s me pompasetting or showing off a rare snuggly Paladin on my lap this morning. (Paladin snuggling isn’t rare, but on a lap is.) 🐈📷 #mbfeb
For week/year 8 of my 52 years celebration, another picture from sometime in the 1970’s, of me making a snowman (and my father at the edge of the frame). Seems appropriate given the surprise snow yesterday. #ThrowbackThursday #52years
For week/year 7 of my 52 years celebration, this picture is probably earlier than the previous one (I’d guess around 1973?), but I wanted to include it anyway. My brother Neville, my late Grandma, me, and my cousin Alan. #ThrowbackThursday #52years
For week/year 6 of my 52 years celebration: a picture of Dad, Gran, Neville, Mum, and me. Not sure when this was taken, sometime in the early 1970’s. #ThrowbackThursday #52years
Today is a notable milestone for me: I have now been married for exactly half of my life. 9445 days between my birth and wedding date; 9445 days between our wedding date and today. (My birthday is in May, our anniversary in April, and now it’s February… funny how time works.)
The Micro.blog challenge word for day 6 is “sport”. Here’s a selfie from just now by our pond, with some ducks in the background. I don’t care much about my appearance, but it makes me happy to sport a long beard. 📷 #mbfeb
For week/year 5 of my 52 years celebration, from January 1973: me, my mother, and my younger brother feeding ducks. #ThrowbackThursday #52years
