Some cute pics from this morning of Paladin with Rory, Pippin on my lap, and Paladin snuggling with me. 🐈

The Micro.blog challenge word for day 28 is “mask”. Fortunately I don’t need to leave my homestead very often, other than for feed store or Costco shopping… but when I do, it’s time to put on my mask. Such is life in pandemic times. 📷😷🦠 #mbnov
Paladin didn’t like to snuggle on me in my downstairs office, but seems to have decided that upstairs is okay. 🐈
The Micro.blog challenge word for day 12 is “wear”. On cold days like today, I wear a kinda silly-looking collection of clothing while doing morning rounds, including hoodie, hat, scarf, and jacket (if raining, I have the jacket hood up instead of the hoodie’s). 📷 #mbnov
The Micro.blog challenge word for day 10 is “elderly“. Between the gray hair and wrinkles, I’m looking rather elderly nowadays. 📷 #mbnov
It’s #NationalCatDay and #ThrowbackThursday, so here are some pictures of our former cat Pixel from 2005, enjoying some leashed outside time (he grew up indoor/outdoor in NZ, then became indoor-only except when leashed when we moved to the US). 🐈
Actually, @jidabug has some pictures of Pippin as a kitten (back in those days, she was in charge of the cameras and photo library). Here are some pictures from October 2007. 🐈
My mother and her husband Brian visited us in the US (from NZ) in May 2005. Here are pictures of them at Portland’s Japanese Garden, watching baseball in Portland, at Cannon Beach, and in the Columbia Gorge. #ThrowbackThursday
One more from our anniversary trip to Hawaii in 2005: a poster we created with several of the photos from the trip. #ThrowbackThursday
Last photos from our anniversary trip to Hawaii in 2005: us at Waihi Falls, a palm tree and frond, and a pic of a lion fish at the aquarium that I quite like. #ThrowbackThursday
