We are celebrating Christmas with our 15th annual “Hobbitfest”: watching the extended editions of all three Lord of the Rings movies; 12 hours total, plus intermissions. Along with snacks and feasting. Merry Christmas! #dejus365 🎄🍿

For Thanksgiving I made sweet corn bread pudding, as Jason Snell recommended on The Incomparable’s Thanksgiving draft podcast episode. I didn’t have an oven-safe skillet, so used a cast iron Dutch oven, which seemed to work fine. We agreed it was better than stuffing. #dejus365
