From December 2015, a photo of me and Jenn in our homestead, taken by our friend Scott. #ThrowbackThursday
ThrowbackThursday
The Micro.blog challenge word for day 24 is “retain”. It’s fun to see what comes up when I search my photo library for a challenge word, now that Photos can search for text; in this case, the word “retain” appears in this info sign in Mesa Verde National Park. 📷 #mbnov
The Micro.blog challenge word for day 17 is “barrel”. Some barrels of wine at a vineyard run by monks in California, the New Clairvaux Vineyard. 📷 #mbnov #ThrowbackThursday
The Micro.blog challenge word for day 10 is “minister”. From October 2021, an info sign in the mining ghost town of Golden, Oregon describes how the town had no saloons but two churches, the ministers of which were also miners. 📷 #mbnov #ThrowbackThursday
The Micro.blog challenge word for day 3 is “license”. Back in 2001 we had a VW New Beetle car with the license plate JDABUG, after my wife’s handle Jidabug. It was cute and fun to drive. 📷 #mbnov #ThrowbackThursday
From October 2015: you may have noticed in last week’s Throwback photos that our homestead was on a 90° corner. Well, a few times a vehicle didn’t make that corner, and we realized why a previous owner had made the mailbox so sturdy. #ThrowbackThursday
Our homestead came with a framed aerial photo taken in July 2001. In October 2015 we got a guy with a plane to take a couple more aerial photos, showing the huge number of improvements previous owners had made during those 14 years. #ThrowbackThursday
From September 2015, some pictures from a Weird Al Yankovic concert at the Oregon Zoo. #ThrowbackThursday
From July 2015, some tiny frogs at our homestead. #ThrowbackThursday
From June 2015, I had lots of fun adding overly complex plumbing to various places around our homestead. #ThrowbackThursday
