After lunch on our Hood River mini vacation, we headed east to the Maryhill Stonehenge, a replica of the original. It was built as a World War I memorial.
Month: February 2020
The word for day 19 of the Micro.blog photo challenge is “space”. Here’s a space between stones at a Stonehenge replica from our Hood River trip; more photos of it later. #mbfeb
On Saturday during our Hood River mini vacation, Jenn and I did some tastings at a couple of wineries. We were planning to visit more, but felt we had enough after two. We went to Syncline Winery and COR Cellars.
On the Dejal blog: Chicken GIFs is heading for the chopping block. Apple is cleaning out apps and other content that haven’t been updated in three years, and Chicken GIFs is one. I have made it completely free until it vanishes; if you want it, get it now! See the blog post for more info.
The word for day 18 of the Micro.blog photo challenge is “oppose”. I decided not to oppose Apple’s notice that they’ll remove my Chicken GIFs iMessage sticker pack, since it hasn’t been updated in three years. #mbfeb
The main reason for our trip to Hood River was to attend the winemaker dinner at our favorite winery, Marchesi Vineyards, along with friends. Some very tasty food and wine, accompanied by words from the winemaker, and Italian arias. An excellent evening.
The word for day 17 of the Micro.blog photo challenge is “cool”. A frosty window on a cool morning. #mbfeb
We just had a little weekend getaway, staying in Hood River, Oregon at the historic Columbia Gorge Hotel & Spa. Here are some pictures of the hotel and our room.
The word for day 16 of the Micro.blog photo challenge is “rest”. Letting my roast potato and Canadian bacon pizza rest for a moment before cutting it and adding dollops of sour cream. Mmm, tasty. #mbfeb
On the homestead blog: for this week’s cat update, lots of cuteness, and a bit of drama. But only one GIF. #Caturday 🐈
