On the Dejal blog: I updated Time Out earlier today, and now here’s a beta release of Dejal Simon 5.0b2.

I just updated the “hero” image on my Dejal home page for Time Out, to use the icon as a background, a modern MacBook Air, and curving text. Not super fancy, but I like it. Compare old vs new:
On the Dejal blog: announcing Dejal Time Out version 2.7.1, a quick update to fix a few issues in my popular break reminder tool.
The Micro.blog challenge word for day 20 is “fade”. A nice new feature in the just-released update of Dejal Time Out 2.7 is an option to ask if you’re ready before the screen fades for a break. #mbnov
It’s time! Dejal Time Out 2.7 is now available. It include a new app icon, Big Sur compatibility, support for Apple’s new M1-based Macs, a much-requested new feature to ask to start a break, improvements to the break preview feature, new break themes, and much more.
On the Dejal blog: a second beta release of Dejal Time Out 2.7, with a new app icon, built for Apple’s new M1-based Mac, and a bunch of fixes. General release soon, so please help me kick the tires!
The Micro.blog challenge word for day 18 is “dependence”. Since I have dependence on Apple’s App Stores for most of my income, directly for Dejal apps and indirectly for consulting work, the announcement today of reducing their cut from 30% to 15% is very welcome. 📷 #mbnov

On the Dejal blog: it’s been a while since the last one, but I just sent a DejalNews newsletter to the subscribers, and posted a copy on the blog. You can read it online (and subscribe if you want).
On the Dejal blog: some comments in reply to a post about Agenda’s “cash cow” model, which is basically the same as Dejal Time Out’s successful supporter model.
