For week/year 35 of my 52 years celebration, from 2005: my Mum and her husband Brian with me at the Portland Japanese Garden, during their visit to the US. #ThrowbackThursday #52years

On the homestead blog: I thought I’d conclude the homestead blog with a guided tour around the property. Yes, with some bonus duck and chicken pictures.

On Friday (during our house inspection) we went to a favorite restaurant for lunch, McMenamins Roadhouse, maybe for the last time. It has fascinating architecture, and pleasant gardens.








I enjoy our small pond and stream, that gives a pleasant sound of trickling water from the deck.
