The Micro.blog challenge word for day 20 is “fade”. A nice new feature in the just-released update of Dejal Time Out 2.7 is an option to ask if you’re ready before the screen fades for a break. #mbnov

The Micro.blog challenge word for day 18 is “dependence”. Since I have dependence on Apple’s App Stores for most of my income, directly for Dejal apps and indirectly for consulting work, the announcement today of reducing their cut from 30% to 15% is very welcome. 📷 #mbnov
The Micro.blog challenge word for day 17 is “train”. The chickens have been trained to come running when I approach the chicken run on my morning rounds, to receive their leafy treats. 📷🐓 #mbnov
The Micro.blog challenge word for day 16 is “memory”. Who remembers cassette tapes? An ancient form of memory storage. This is my very first one from my childhood, with some badly-spelled theme songs recorded off TV in the early 1980s. 📷 #mbnov
The Micro.blog challenge word for day 15 is “far”. It’s so cute when Rory and Paladin aren’t far apart, sharing the fireplace. 📷🐕🐈 #mbnov
The Micro.blog challenge word for day 14 is “spooky”. A video that some might find spooky: a spider lowered itself onto a large leaf on the floor of the feral cat feeder, and hoisted it up to the ceiling… but ultimately dropped it. 📹🍁🕷 #mbnov
The Micro.blog challenge word for day 13 is “guess”. When I ordered my iPhone 12 Pro Max, it said it’d be delivered today, but it has been pushed out to November 25; I can’t guess why, but hey, what’s a few more days. 📱 #mbnov
The Micro.blog challenge word for day 12 is “wear”. On cold days like today, I wear a kinda silly-looking collection of clothing while doing morning rounds, including hoodie, hat, scarf, and jacket (if raining, I have the jacket hood up instead of the hoodie’s). 📷 #mbnov
The Micro.blog challenge word for day 11 is “say“. On this Veterans Day, a familiar poem sprang to mind for #mbnov, with a picture taken at dawn:
O say can you see, by the dawn’s early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming….
