On the homestead blog: installing the duck island! 🔨🏝🦆
Month: February 2021
As a bonus picture for today’s Micro.blog challenge: sometimes Pippin has a craving for the dog’s water instead of his own. Bonus slobber flavor! 🐈📷 #mbfeb
The Micro.blog challenge word for day 7 is “craving”. Sometimes it’s really enjoyable to satiate a craving for a burger and tots. (Beyond Meat fake patty, American cheese, pineapple ring, sliced tomato, shredded lettuce, brioche bun, plus tater tots.) 🍔📷 #mbfeb
The Micro.blog challenge word for day 6 is “sport”. Here’s a selfie from just now by our pond, with some ducks in the background. I don’t care much about my appearance, but it makes me happy to sport a long beard. 📷 #mbfeb
On the homestead blog: some cats definitely feature more on my weekly Caturday posts: Poppy and Porcini in particular. They just hang around more. But Spud and Pepper are up there, too. The others are more reclusive. #Caturday 🐈
Who could have predicted this would happen? 🐈
To be fair, our pet cats aren’t always fighting… sometimes they’re sleeping. At least until Paladin decides he wants Pip’s spot. 🐈
On the homestead blog: it’s quack and cluck day. #FlockFriday 🦆🐓
The Micro.blog challenge word for day 5 is “pets” (suggested by me). Sometimes I wonder why we have pets; Paladin and Pippin often start the day by fighting. 🐈📷 #mbfeb
For week/year 5 of my 52 years celebration, from January 1973: me, my mother, and my younger brother feeding ducks. #ThrowbackThursday #52years
