Health update: I’m feeling much better now. Still a cough persisting, as these things do, but otherwise fine. Jenn is feeling unwell too, but also improving. We both did at-home COVID tests today, just in case, but both were negative. So just the normal bugs. 🦠

Rory doesn’t like car trips, probably because she doesn’t do it as often as many dogs. She has the entire back of the car, but wants to be up front with us, for reassurance… which results in dog slobber on my shorts. But she eventually calms down a bit. 🐕🚙

Still sick; my temperature dipped down last night, but is back to 100.4 °F this morning. Better than 102.3, I guess. 🦠🌡🛌
That’ll teach me not to go out amongst the unwashed masses. In bed with a mild fever. Hopefully not COVID, but at least I’m fully vaccinated, so I don’t need to worry too much about symptoms or transmissibility. 🦠🌡🛌

We’re in Ashland for a long-scheduled brief vacation. Yesterday we did some wine tasting at three vineyards around the Jacksonville area. 🍷
